Bah Humbug!

Gawd Dang! November hits and all the shops are decked out for Christmas! What the heck?! What a way to spoil the big day... have everything available now!
Stupid thing is, some of the Christmas pies, puddings, roasts expire well in advance of the big day, so tell me, what is the point in not only advertising them now, but selling them now, sheesh!
No wonder it doesn't have the same kudos anymore, we're all desensitised to egg nog, presents, Christmas trees and carols.
I think that it should be illegal for Christmas to be advertised before December 1st! A petition needs to be organised, signed, given to government, legislation ratified and humongous fines for anyone selling anything remotely Christmas before December. Christmas Enjoyers Unite!
