... managed to develop my Wisley photos, so here they are to bore you with.
I couldn't decide on which rose picture to include, so you've got both to look at!

God Save the Queen...

Tis my alternate national anthem now! What? I hear you say... yes... I now officially have two national anthems.
Went to the Surrey County Hall today to voice my affirmation of allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second and give my loyalty to the United Kingdom!
There were about thirty of us from round the world, and for those cynics out there I was not the only caucasion outside of Europe! We all sat in the great hall (a beautiful stained glass window of Saint George killing the Dragon) sipping tea whilst we all were checked in and counted. Then it was off to another smaller hall to say our words, shake hands with a Surrey Councillor (unfortunately Queen Elizabeth had a prior engagement), have our picture and certificate of British Citizenship taken and once signed the register I was deemed British.
Now I just have to fill in the passport form, pay out more money and then I can go anywhere in the EU and not worry about a visa!
I guess you could say that with both New Zealand and British citizenship the world is pretty much my oyster!

Quintessentially English!

Went to the South of England Show and I must say that it was the embodiment of English country life!
We saw everything from cows, sheep, ducks, tractors and 'real' meat to pigs, chickens, rabbits, ladies riding side sadle, blacksmiths and delicious ice cream!
A glorious day (it was overcast yet warm) with every type of person imaginable... the atypical gentry in their tweed, the horsey types in gumboots, ladies in stilletos, men in bowlers, and your every day chav!
We tasted cheeses, cider, sausages, coffee, sauces and honey, all amongst the most varied smells that my nose has experienced in a long time!
I managed to secure some lovely photos... all included to bore you with of course!

The Easter buns in December have been Surpassed!

Yes, that's right.
I received my first post regarding the organisation of our Christmas party!
What you say?
I received my first post regarding the organisation of our Christmas party!!
Un-smegging-believable!
Haven't even finished with summer, well even started it, and people are thinking about turkey and all the trimmings and charging us exorbinant prices for the privelage.
Just as well that my fingers can type as I'm gobsmacked!
