Loving Sundays!
The past two Sunday's have just been fabulous!
Last Sunday it was off to the Boat Show at Excel.. wandering round looking a beautiful, sexy, I just want to lick you all up now and eat you boats! Looking at all the paraphernalia that goes with having a boat, as well as enjoying a half pint of guiness going over what was the favourite.
Definitely a hard choice.. the ultra modern three storey bigger than the house, heck bigger than the house and the neighbour's house joined together! Or the classic wooden oh so it looks like how a boat should look one! A choice that just couldn't be made!
So after about three or four hours of boat drooling it was off to Cirque de Soleil's Varekai. What an awesome evening of circus acts that had not only the heart pumping but also had it nearly leaping out the mouth! The acrobatics were incredible and the contortionist was eye boggling!
This Sunday it was off up to London again.. a lovely walk across the Hungerford bridge (dodging all the photo snapping tourists), through Trafalgar square (dodging yet more photo snapping tourists), up through Piccadilly Circus (yes, you guessed it, dodging yet more photo snapping tourists), down Regent Street (just trying to dodge all the sale shoppers!) and along Savile Row (not quite drooling over the very fine suits!) to Duo boots. Where I actually tried on a pair of boots that weren't lace up, they had zips, and they went all the way up of my fat calves, woo! Duo boots rock! Only weird thing is that you can order and pay for them in store, then they send them to whatever address you want, you just can't walk out with them. A very bizarre feeling walking out of a shop, spending money and not having anything physical to show for it!
Then it was off to Carnaby Street and look at the shops.. managed to get some new sneakers half price and saw the most amazing dress in Harriet's Muse, it was jaw dropping!
Then it was time to head home, pretty much the same way in reverse, though this time could not be bothered dodging tourists and their photo taking, just walked straight through the shot, how rude eh?!
Ah well, such are the joys of being a tourist.. getting home and going oh my gawd who's that in the picture?!
You can check out the following if you so desire, or not!
